So this is how the story ends A flicker on a saturated screen How many hours have watched you turn How many hours have watched you swim upstream Under the loving gaze of solid state machines No matter how you make amends Envy leaves you running out of steam Following your engines down Following your automatic dream Under the gaze of solid state machines Under the loving gaze of solid state machines You’re part of it You’re part of it, You’re part of a new dream now You’re part of it You’re part of it, You’re part of a new dream now You’re part of it You’re part of it, You’re part of a machine

Empire 04:41
All change  Arriving at the end again As the sun sets on an empire soil Let a thousand roses grow Like a bride and groom  We walked beneath a hollow moon With all the secrets of the world in our pockets  And nothing to do  While it drifted away beneath you  Show me the way to keep your heart  Get on the road to find out  Show me the way to keep your heart Show me the way to keep  While the seagulls fly  Rolling shadows through the evening sky  She told me stories of a place I’d forgotten An echo in time Have you woken the dogs again tonight? Show me the way to keep your heart I’m on the road to find out Show me the way to keep your heart  Show me the way to break the chain Coming out of the forest  See the wood follow the path  Through the snow and fooling the sentries  Run far but not too far to go Can't you see I'm changing baby? Can't you see a rose in bloom? I'm so alive  So alive  There was something I lost  There was something new  It was never the same Can't you see that I'm changing? One step over the line Follow the thief or the stranger Double down this time Can’t you see that I’m changing ? Making a new kind of life Can’t you see what I lost? Can’t you see what I’m building? Can’t you see that I’m changing?

After the city falls Under the blanket of your spell In the twilight the strays kneel down  Hypnotised by the sound of the sirens call  Now you count out the spoils of war  After the bruises fade away  Better see what you’ve lost or won this time  Oh will your metal heart melt away? Listen to your phone Listen to your phone Watch it on tv  Heard it in the car You cant turn it off   Go on go on go on You feel that rush  Now that its burning down  How do you feel when it’s gone? Out on the ocean alone I know you cant hold back the tide i know that you cant rewind  I know you cant hold back the tide i know that you cant rewind

My enemy  Where have you been? On the low days you crawl along Will you roll again? You shadow my ways  Hide out through the night Like a secret revealed in an X-ray  Lifted up to the light  It’s always the same but it  Always looks new Playing out in an endless loop It’s always the same when you  Slip through my hands Somehow the wheels keep turning round  Some days  When you’re running out of air Holding out for your turn in the spotlight  When you’re caught in the crosshair One last time Returning to the sun  Tearing open a hole in the sky  Tumbling tumbling tumbling down  It’s always the same but it  Always looks new Playing out in an endless loop It’s always the same when you  Slip through my hands But somehow the wheels keep turning round  It’s always the same I get it  Covered up for a friend  When it's laid out before you like a dream  That’s coming to the end  It’s always the same when you  Slip thought my hands  Walking to the horizon On infinite sand
